2019/2020 sports academic team champions

Five of Washington High School's Fall varsity programs were able to acquire a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher, which qualifies the team as an Academic Team Champion by the FHSAA. Please congratulate these student athletes, coaches, and parents! More information will be posted as each sport's season ends.

2019/2020 Sports Documentation for Student Athletes

- Any current student athlete wishing to participate in any sport must have a COMPLETED sports packet PREVIOUS to any participation. 

- All student athletes who wish to participate in athletics at Booker T. Washington must be enrolled in the school PREVIOUS to any participation as well. 

- Any student transferring into Booker T. Washington that wishes to participate, upon being enrolled, must complete the 2019-20 Transfer Athlete Sports Packet, listed above.  Once completed, those completed documents go to the Head Coach of the corresponding sport.

- Any non-traditional (home school, private school, non-member school) student wishing to participate in athletics at Booker T. Washington should contact the Escambia County School District Office of School Choice to have Booker T. listed as a "secondary school".  Once that happens, contact the AD, Mr. Joe Williams, at to complete any other necessary steps.
