    The Escambia County School District arranges transportation and other services by referring to the address on file at your child's school. Please help us maintain accurate and timely service for your child, and ensure that we are able to contact you in the event of an emergency, by keeping your address and phone number current at your child's school.

    FREE DISTRICT-WIDE VIRTUAL FINANCIAL AID NIGHT on DECEMBER 6 from 6 - 7 p.m.

    FREE Virtual District-wide Financial Aid Night for Senior Parents

    The first FREE virtual district-wide financial aid night for parents of seniors in high school is set for Tuesday, December 6th, from 6 to 7 p.m. In collaboration with George Stone Technical College, Pensacola State College's TRIO/EOC Department and the University of West Florida Admissions and Financial Aid Departments, the focus of this event will be the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). While registration is not required, it is highly recommended.     The second of three Florida Assessment of Student Thinking, also known as FAST, will be administered on Wednesday, December 7. The FAST Assessment replaces the FSA and is used to progress monitor all students in 9th and 10th grade in reading. Students will be progress monitored three times this school year. The assessment will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will take 90 minutes. Testing locations will be posted around school prior to the date of the test. Additionally, on this date, 12th grade students who are currently enrolled in US Government will take the Florida Civics Literacy Exam, and 11th grade students will complete the state-mandated CPR/First Aid training.

    All students in grades 9-12 are expected to attend school on this date and should bring their charged Chromebook to school.

    Thursday, December 15 - 5th period semester exam *Full day of school*

    Friday, December 16 - 1st and 4th period semester exams *Half day - Dismissal at 12:10 p.m.*

    Monday, December 19 - 2nd and 3rd period semester exams *Half day - Dismissal at 12:10 p.m.*

    Tuesday, December 20 - 6th and 7th period semester exams *Early release - Dismissal at 1:20 p.m.*

    *Breakfast, lunch, and transportation will be provided on all exam days.

    *Students must take a semester exam in order to earn credit for the course. 

    *Exams will not be given prior to the scheduled exam date.

    *Wednesday, January 4, 2023 is a make-up day for any missing semester exams. Students should report at 8:00 a.m. to the school cafeteria to take any missing exams. No students will be admitted after 8:30 a.m.

    Nominated and selected by our faculty, Mr. Horne goes above and beyond for his students and his coworkers.     Chromebook Information for Incoming Freshmen and New Students

    All incoming freshmen and new students will be issued a Chromebook at the start of the 2022/2023 school year.

    In order for a student to receive a Chromebook, his or her parents must complete the Chromebook Contract and view the Chromebook Contract film clip. Both items are linked below:
